LR 3 is coming out soon. I&#39;d say wait for that if you decide to pull the trigger. If you find that you have a mountain of photos this gets you the majority of edits you need without needing to use photoshop. A consumer tool versus a professional tool. Adobe Lightroom is great. Has a great workflow for editing JPG and esp. RAW files. Depending on how much you do with your photos. Basic edits Picasa I&#39;m sure does fine.
