CNN Money reports that Chrysler will NOT be repaying any of the $7.5 billion that the company received. So the U.S. government gave the company $7.5 billion from January until now, and it only kept the company alive for 5 months.
Do I hear protests? I feel like I'm getting robbed.

Yeah during our free give away, I wonder what the highest paycheck was......
Far more than what you or I make...
I also think Chrysler should have been allowed to go bankrupt...
But Joe, do you really feel robbed? Those sound like strong feelings...
Hmm... I have been robbed in real life before. Getting robbed by Chrysler and the federal government is less intense, mostly because they are located so far away from me and they do it in subtle and legal ways.
I'm not an investor in Chrysler or in Cerebus. So when investors ask for $7.5 billion to be burnt in 5 months, and the 300 million U.S. citizens have to pay for it, I feel at least insulted. I do feel robbed though.
I think it would have been more fun to pile $7.5 billion in 100 dollar bills into a huge stack (ala the Joker in the latest Batman movie) and then hold a bonfire. It would have been prettier.
